Scientist Engagement Happy Hour @ Reliable Tavern

In collaboration with: Union of Concerned Scientists, 500 Women Scientists, Earth Science Women’s Network, Ecological Society of America Policy Section, Engineers and Scientists Acting Locally, ComSciCon, & Society for Conservation Biology DC Chapter

As an informal event in conjunction with the AGU 2018 conference, the DMV AWG and partners hosted a happy hour at Reliable Tavern to meet and mingle with fellow scientists and science advocates, and hear about ways scientists around the country are participating in policy, advocacy, and public engagement. We had an excellent time getting to know fellow earth and environmental scientists, and built new relationships with other local organizations with whom we continue to partner.
